Let me tell you my origin story…
I start life smooth, quiet, and full of potential—just a humble clay creation, minding my own business. Then someone covers me in a cool, dark layer of underglaze, and suddenly I’m dressed for the occasion. Very chic. Very mysterious.
Next comes the fun part: scratching.
But not the bad kind—this is intentional chaos. Lines are carved, patterns emerge, and boom—my true self is revealed. Every scratch pulls back the surface to show what’s underneath, like I’m whispering secrets through contrast and texture. I’m basically clay’s version of a dramatic reveal.
No two of me are ever the same. I’m bold where you press hard, delicate where your hand hesitates. I keep your fingerprints, your rhythm, your little “oops” moments. Those aren’t mistakes—they’re personality.
After the kiln works its fiery magic, I come out permanent, proud, and slightly smug. I don’t fade. I don’t peel. I stand there like, “Yes, you did this. Look at you.”
